大好真人（石谷春贵配音）是一位非常平凡的男子高中生，和大部分的同龄男生一样，真人对游戏和那些勇者斗恶龙的古老传说有着很大的兴趣。唯一令真人感到困扰的是，他拥有一位对他过度保护和过度关心的母亲真真子（茅野爱衣配音），虽然明白母亲是因为非常的爱自己才会如此表现，但母亲的爱常常令真人感到喘不过气来。 一场意外中，真人发现自己竟然被传送到了游戏世界之中，本以为终于能够摆脱真真子的束缚的真人万万没有想到的是，为了追随儿子的脚步，真真子竟然也紧随其后来到了游戏之中。不仅如此，真真子在游戏里还大受欢迎，人气非常之高。。Mike and Heather's father die and they go to his favorite spot to spread his ashes.
