Beyond her personal vision, the film also explores the themes of collective trauma, vengeance, human evil and compassion.。该剧讲述了燕山君时代实际存在过的历史人物洪吉童的生活、爱情和斗争故事，尹均相在剧中饰演主人公——朝鲜建国后百年难得一见的力士洪吉童。尹均相对此表示“对于第一次担任主演，虽然有负担，但还是想要尽全力演好洪吉童这个角色。因为角色是真实存在过的，所以会对他产生好奇心，并且我也一直在反复研究怎样才能演绎出革命家的面貌” 。。
