女主朵娇发现了后妈康婉私自变卖父亲阿醒的地产，父亲一怒之下将康婉赶出家中，康婉不死心，联合地方官阿猜和他儿子阿育在他们的车子上做手脚，导致阿醒落水变成植物人，朵娇被男主奇达温妈妈的车撞到，入院后失忆。男主奇达温起初和朵娇一直争吵，但是吵出了感情，在慢慢了解朵娇的身份和经历后，奇达温不遗余力地帮助她，两人也确立了关系。另一边，康婉和女儿楠英一直在试图杀死朵娇和阿醒，生出许多事端，在一次追杀途中，朵娇帮奇达温挡了一枪后晕倒，恢复了一开始的记忆，却忘记了和奇达温在一起时的回忆。后来，康婉母女与阿猜、阿育因为金钱利益而反目，他们也由追杀朵娇变成了追杀康婉和楠英，最后阿猜被警察打死，阿育则被抓进监狱，康婉因为涉嫌谋杀被送入监狱，楠英在逃跑途中被车撞死。最终阿醒恢复健康，朵娇虽然还是没有恢复和奇达温在一起时的回忆，但还是答应了奇达温的求婚，有情人终成眷属。。Take: three generations of women in Covid lockdown in New York, enough white wine, vodka and time to talk about the really important issues.
