节目跟随无知的主持人Philomena Cunk追溯英国历史，看她如何扯蛋和胡诌历史。Philomena Cunk是个虚拟的纪录片主持人，由Diane Morgan扮演。人气时尚杂志《LA STRADA》旗下，集聚了一群充满梦想的女孩。在她们中间，顶尖名模美保（加贺美セイラ 饰）无疑成为女孩们奋斗的目标。作为专属模特的女孩雏子（本田翼 饰）也是如此，她不辞劳苦，工作之余辛勤打工贴补生计，在镁光灯前展现自己最美的一面。在此期间，有的同伴因无法减肥而被放弃，有的迫于生活压力返回故乡。雏子决不放弃梦想，而她的努力也终于得到严苛主编（手冢理美 饰）的肯定，得到了和美保共同拍摄写真的机会。站在顶尖的美保同样有着难以想象的巨大压力，年龄不断增长，野心勃勃的后辈如影随形，她与当年挖掘了自己的摄影师宅间（伊藤洋三郎 饰）相恋，感情归宿却没有着落。 繁华喧嚣过后，留给时尚女孩的还有什么……。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
