Billy Campbell和Karine Vanasse将主演CTV的一小时剧集《Cardinal》（暂定名） 这部谋杀谜案剧根据Giles Blunt所著的John Cardinal谜案系列小说第一部《Forty Words For Sorrow》改编，讲述了Campbell饰演的智慧、沉着、固执的侦探John Cardinal，他来自阿冈昆湾的北部城市，身上背负着多年的多年的冤屈。Vanasse饰演Cardinal的搭档Lise Delorme，她是一个精明坚强、富有想象力和天生调查侦探才能的女人。本剧将在CTV的2016-2017时间段播出，最早将会在2016年2月开始制作拍摄。。淡幽，是最早虫师家族之一的后裔，继承了禁忌之虫，以至于一只脚不能活动。 隈罗，药袋家族的后裔，幼年不具有看到虫的能力，为了应对禁忌之虫，被长期置于荆棘之路的出口，导致“灵魂”被核食虫所食，失去“灵魂”的他，被灌入了人造虫代替自己的“灵魂”，每次使用人造虫后会变成一局空壳，需要重新灌入人造虫才能“复活”，但会失去人的感情。 银古则是受淡幽所托，陪伴隈罗去调查一座山中虫异动的现象。。。。It was the world's last Islamic empire - a super-power of a million square miles.
